Overlooking the serene banks of Huizhou’s Jiangwan River, this expansive residence translates the rhythm of water and light into a language of understated luxury. The design narrative embraces openness and calm — creating a living environment where architectural clarity meets emotional warmth.
Soft natural light filters through floor-to-ceiling sheers, casting a diffused glow that accentuates the interplay of textures: matte stone, brushed metal, and finely woven fabrics. The living room unfolds as an open canvas of neutral tones, where sculptural furniture and minimalist lines coexist in quiet harmony. A bespoke low-profile sofa anchors the space, complemented by tactile area rugs and curated modern accents.
The dining area is defined by its bold marble wall — a natural artwork that injects drama and contrast into the serene palette. Adjacent to it, the study embodies composure and order, with custom shelving and tailored joinery reflecting both functionality and refinement.
In the master suite, gentle curves and layered materials evoke a sense of soft intimacy. Warm oak flooring, upholstered panels, and tonal textiles create a cocoon of comfort, while the bathroom’s black marble surfaces and freestanding tub add a sense of indulgent calm — a personal retreat suspended above the cityscape.
Through a holistic FF&E design approach, the residence orchestrates light, proportion, and texture into a seamless experience — a dialogue between urban sophistication and riverside serenity.
